we are for the golf course.

albatrace golf exists for the good of the golf course.
find out below what that means, and how we put it into practice.

the founder

hey there – i’m vincent (or vince/vinny/v-dub; whatever fills your sails). i’m the lunatic responsible for this whole thing.

it all started back in october of two-thousand nineteen, when i was lucky enough to pull off one of the craziest, rarest shots in golf. then, a few years later, i decided to start an instagram account under the name “albatrace golf” so that i’d have a place to share my golf course doodles, architecture musings, and other random content.

now we’re here, and you’re staring at my face on a website. that’s pretty weird, and kinda cool… but you should probably move along. thanks.

the professional

chuck here!

i’m the head pro at hueston woods golf course, and an assistant coach for the miami university men’s golf team.

vince and i played high school golf together, have worked together for a couple of years now, and want to use our knowledge of the golf industry to help other courses. with my experience in management and finance, i hope to help golf courses build better business strategies and see sustained success.

our home track

draped across gentle terrain just north of the small college town of oxford, our home course is part of the hueston woods state park, an historic swath of deciduous forest in southwest ohio. the course winds its way through healthy stands of beech, maple, tulip-poplar, locust and more; there are no houses, power lines or major roads, creating a scenic and serene environment perfect for golf.
